I support ending right-to-work, and bringing back prevailing wage laws in Michigan. Also, I believe that workers in every industry should have the ability to unionize. Unions give Michiganders power in the workplace, and that power is the key to having a strong middle-class.

Michigan has some of the worst employee rights laws. At-will employment prevents workers from demanding better treatment and from collectively organizing by making them so easily replaceable. As a retail and restaurant worker, I know that holding employers accountable will require legislative change to protect workers.
